Reproductive Reflexology (also known as Reproflexology) is a specialist reflexology approach that supports both men and women throughout their fertility journey. It can support those trying to conceive naturally, preparing for or undergoing assisted fertility treatment such as IUI, IVF and ICSI, as well as people experiencing reproductive health concerns including PCOS, endometriosis, hormone imbalance, low sperm count and reduced sperm mobility.
Trying to conceive can be an emotional and challenging journey, and everyone's experience is unique. My aim is to provide a calm, supportive space and personalised treatment tailored to your individual fertility journey,
Specialist training and experience
I have completed specialist training with Barbara Scott of Seren Natural Fertility and I'm a full member of the Association of Reproductive Reflexologists (ARR), allowing me to provide evidence-informed, Reproductive Reflexology treatments tailored to your individual needs.
What can I expect?
Before your first appointment
Before your initial consultation, you'll be asked to complete a pre-conceptual questionnaire and return it to me in advance. This allows me time to gain an understanding of your current situation, medical history and fertility journey, so I can begin planning your treatment before we meet.
Your initial consultation
Your first appointment lasts around 90 minutes. Ideally both partners will attend where appropriate, although I understand this isn't always possible.
During your consultation, we'll discuss your completed questionnaire, medical history, any test results you've received and your current lifestyle. This is also your opportunity to ask any questions you may have about Reproductive Reflexology and your fertility journey.
As part of your assessment, I'll carry out a detailed Reproflexology assessment of your feet, looking at your overall health and wellbeing as well as the reproductive reflex points. This assessment will also be repeated at future appointments to monitor progress and help tailor your treatment plan.
Your personalised treatment plan
Following your consultation, your treatment plan will be tailored to your individual circumstances and fertility goals.
For women trying to conceive naturally, treatment is often recommended weekly throughout one menstrual cycle, with appointments timed to support each stage of the cycle. As every cycle is unique, appointment timings will vary from person to person.
For male clients, treatment is usually recommended weekly for around eight weeks before moving to fortnightly appointments. This reflects the natural sperm development cycle, which typically takes around three months.
If you're preparing for assisted fertility treatment such as IUI, IVF or ICSI, your appointments will be carefully timed to complement your treatment plan.
