Welcome to

LK Therapy & Wellness

My name is Lucy and I am passionate about supporting Health & Wellbeing through Reflexology & Clinical Aromatherapy, with a particular focus on Women's Health, Fertility & Hormonal Balance.

Whether you are looking for support on your fertility journey, help managing an existing health condition, or simply seeking time to restore balance and calm in your life, my aim is to provide a safe, supportive and relaxing environment where we can work together to create a bespoke treatment plan tailored to your individual needs.

I am a full member of The Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT).

The Holistic Approach...

I believe wellbeing is about more than addressing individual symptoms. By taking a holistic approach, I consider the wider factors that can influence health and wellbeing, including physical, emotional and lifestyle needs.

Every treatment is tailored to the individual, creating a personalised experience designed to support relaxation, balance and overall wellbeing.

Reflexology...

Reflexology is a gentle, non-invasive treatment that involves applying pressure to specific points on the feet, which correspond with different areas & systems of the body.

Originating thousands of years ago, with links to ancient Egypt, India and China, Reflexology has evolved into a widely recognised therapy that many people use to support relaxation, wellbeing and overall balance.

Each treatment is tailored to your individual needs, creating a calm and relaxing experience designed to support both body and mind.

Aromatherapy...

Aromatherapy Massage combines the benefits of massage with carefully selected essential oils to support relaxation, wellbeing and balance.

Essential Oils are derived from natural plant extracts, each with their own unique properties and aromas. Treatments are tailored to your individual needs, allowing a bespoke blend of oils to be chosen to support your wellbeing goals.

Whether you are looking to relax and unwind, restore balance or simply take some time for yourself, Aromatherapy Massage provides a calming and nurturing treatment experience

Maternity Reflexology...

Pregnancy is a unique journey, and Maternity Reflexology offers an opportunity to pause, relax and focus on your wellbeing during this special time.

Designed to support both physical and emotional wellbeing, treatments are tailored to your individual needs, creating a calm and nurturing experience throughout pregnancy.

I have undertaken additional specialist training with Sally Earlam, enabling me to incorporate techniques that may help support common pregnancy-related concerns, including;

techniques to focus on certain conditions that can often present during pregnancy including;

Morning sickness

Constipation

Pelvic Girdle Pain

Swollen legs & feet

Reproductive Reflexology...

I have completed advanced training with Seren Natural Fertility and use specialist treatment protocols developed specifically to support reproductive health and fertility wellbeing.

Reflexology for Menopause...

Menopause is a natural stage of life, but for many women the transition through perimenopause and menopause can bring a wide range of physical and emotional symptoms.

Every woman's experience is unique, and symptoms can vary significantly from person to person. Whilst lifestyle changes and medical support can play an important role, many women also seek additional support to help improve their overall wellbeing during this time.

Reflexology provides an opportunity to relax, restore balance and focus on self-care, offering a calm and supportive space during what can often be a challenging period of change.

Treatments are tailored to your individual needs, helping to support your wellbeing throughout your menopause journey.

Some frequently asked questions...

How many treatments will I need?

Each person is different, and the number of treatments required will depend on your individual circumstances and goals.

Some clients notice benefits after their first appointment, whilst for others it may take a series of treatments to achieve the desired outcome. Following your initial consultation, I will discuss my recommendations and work with you to create a treatment plan tailored to your needs.

Clients undertaking Reproductive Reflexology clients will follow a structured treatment plan, which will be discussed in detail during the initial consultation.

What happens in a treatment?

Your first appointment will begin with a detailed consultation, where we will discuss your health history, lifestyle, current concerns and any medications you may be taking. This information helps me to gain a better understanding of your individual needs and allows me to create a bespoke treatment plan tailored to your wellbeing goals.

I will then explain what to expect during your treatment and answer any questions you may have before you get comfortable on either the Lafuma® Relaxation Chair or Treatment Couch, depending depending on the location of your appointment.

The aim is to provide a calm, supportive and relaxing experience where you can take time to focus on your wellbeing.

Will anything stop me having a treatment?

Your safety and wellbeing are always my priority.

Certain health conditions, medications or circumstances may mean that treatment needs to be adapted, postponed or, in some case, may not be suitable, This is why the initial consultation is so important, as it allows me to ensure that any treatment offered is safe and appropriate for your individual needs.

There are some health conditions that may prevent treatment taking place or that will need extra caution, hence why the initial consultation is so important to ensure I always have your well-being at the forefront of every treatment.

If you have any concerns about whether a treatment is suitable for you, please don't hesitate to Get in Touch and I will be happy to discuss this with you.

Can you diagnose my health problems?

No. Reflexology is not a diagnostic tool and I cannot diagnose medical conditions.

During a treatment I may notice areas of sensitivity within certain reflex points, which can provide useful feedback and help inform our discussions about your wellbeing, If I feel there is anything that requires further investigation, I will always recommend seeking advice from your GP or another appropriate healthcare professional.

What should I wear for a treatment?

Comfort is key, so I recommend attending your appointment in clothing that allows you to relax and feel at ease.

As Reflexology treatments involve the feet and lower legs, trouser or leggings that can be easily rolled up are ideal.

Do I need to have had Reflexology or Aromatherapy before?

No. Many of my clients are completely new to Reflexology and Aromatherapy when they attend their first appointment.

Your initial consultation provides an opportunity for us to discuss your needs, answer any questions you may have and ensure you feel comfortable and relaxed before treatment begins.
