About me

The Face Behind

LK Therapy & Wellness!

My passion for wellbeing began at a very young age. I can still remember setting up bowls of warm water and offering foot soaks and massages to family members, so perhaps becoming a therapist was always part of my journey!

After completing a Foundation degree in Complementary Therapies at New College Durham in 2008, I began my career working within a drug and alcohol service, providing treatments for clients and their families. This experience gave me a valuable insight into the importance of holistic support and the positive impact therapies can have on both physical & emotional wellbeing.

Following the birth of my children, I joined the team at Sammy Anne's Holistic Therapies based in Whitley Bay, where I continued to develop my skills, gain further experience and discover my passion for supporting women's wellbeing.

Since 2019, I have also worked within an NHS Palliative Care setting, providing therapy treatments to patients and their families. It is a role I feel incredibly privileged to hold and one that has allowed me to further develop both my knowledge and clinical experience.

LK Therapy & Wellness brings together the experience, values and specialist training I have gained throughout my career. Today, my focus is on supporting women's health and wellbeing through bespoke Reflexology and Clinical Aromatherapy treatments, creating a calm, supportive space where clients can take time to prioritise themselves.
